**Job Title:** Founding Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of a payment platform for AI agents. Own product features from concept to deployment, establish technical vision, and shape the early engineering culture with a focus on speed, quality, and product impact.
**Expectations:**
- High‑impact, high‑agency role with full ownership of codebase and team direction.
- Collaborate closely with founders, challenging product assumptions when necessary.
- Operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
- Produce clean, maintainable code while iterating quickly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Architect and implement APIs, frontend, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines for AI‑enabled payment solutions.
- Integrate AI agent frameworks (e.g., Autogen, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK).
- Develop guardrails, security, and compliance mechanisms for safe payments.
- Build and maintain full‑stack components using React, Supabase, Python, and TypeScript.
- Define and enforce coding standards, CI/CD workflows, and technical best practices.
- Mentor and lead a growing engineering team, fostering a culture of craftsmanship and rapid iteration.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations to translate high‑level goals into technical deliverables.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong software architecture and system design experience.
- Full‑stack development proficiency: React, Supabase, Python, TypeScript.
- Experience with AI agent frameworks (Autogen, LangGraph, OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK).
- Familiarity with payment systems and regulatory compliance (PCI, KYC, AML) is a plus.
- Comfortable with DevOps: cloud infrastructure, containerization, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and product‑thinking skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a startup environment with minimal guidance.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
- No mandatory certifications, but certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or security are advantageous.
