**Job Title:** Payroll & Benefits Specialist (Part Time Fixed Term) **Role Summary:** Provide temporary payroll processing and benefits administration for EMEA and US employees during a maternity leave period. Manage employee records, ensure accurate payroll delivery, maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and coordinate benefit enrollment and termination. **Expectations:** - Part‑time coverage from February to September, with potential extension or conversion to full‑time. - Operate remotely, available for ad‑hoc inquiries and end‑of‑year reporting. - Demonstrate high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and proactive problem‑solving. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Compile and maintain payroll data for EMEA & US, ensuring adherence to established processes. 2. Report payroll information to providers and accounting teams on schedule. 3. Handle new hire reporting to payroll and social security within legal timelines. 4. Serve as first point of contact for payroll inquiries and assist with accounting queries. 5. Support year‑end reporting and audit requests. 6. Administer employee benefit programs across EMEA, maintaining accurate provider records. 7. Manage company car contracts and benefit provider relationships. 8. Enroll starters and cancel leavers in a timely manner. **Required Skills:** - Prior payroll experience (France, Germany, Italy or Belgium desirable). - Familiarity with payroll & HRIS systems. - Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. - Detail‑oriented, multitasking, and solution‑focused. - Fluent in English (written & oral). - Knowledge of GDPR and data protection regulations. - Ability to work independently and as a team player. - Multilingual proficiency preferred. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field. - Payroll or HR certification (e.g., ACCA, CPHR) preferred but not mandatory.
