About the Company

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 8-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. The tour’s vision is to provide superb hospitality and make every event a memorable one. Play is open to males and females from 8-18. The HJGT administers over 350 events across the USA and also hosts events in Canada, China, and India. The HJGT has made a global impact in millions of lives over its 17 year history. We are an inclusive tour that is open to juniors of all skill levels. The HJGT was a disruptor when it came into the junior golf space in 2007 and we continue to serve that role with hosting top notch competitions, on premier golf courses, and providing our members with the best technology and innovation in the industry.

**Job Title:** Digital Marketing Intern – Social Media (Remote) **Role Summary:** Assist in elevating and managing a global sports organization's social media presence by creating and curating high‑quality multimedia content, scheduling regular posts, monitoring engagement, and supporting live event coverage across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms. **Expectations:** - Deliver all marketing deliverables on schedule. - Increase combined social media reach by 40% during the internship term. - Produce advertising and partnership content that drives measurable engagement and potential revenue opportunities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Produce, edit and publish videos, graphics, and photos tailored for social media. - Develop and schedule daily posts; maintain consistent brand voice and visual style. - Craft stories, reels, and posts that highlight event moments and engage the audience. - Analyze platform trends and incorporate timely, relevant content. - Provide live social updates during tournaments (live streams, behind‑the‑scenes). - Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to align content with overarching goals and brand guidelines. - Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and recommend optimization strategies. - Engage with followers—respond to comments and messages to strengthen community relations. - Organize and archive digital assets for future use. **Required Skills:** - Strong written and verbal communication. - Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. - Experience managing social media accounts and creating engaging content. - Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. - Attention to detail, goal‑oriented, and results‑driven. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field. - Must maintain good standing at the university and receive at least one credit for internship participation. ---
