Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Job Description: Job title: Senior DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure supporting multiple development teams; build and optimize CI/CD pipelines; drive DevOps culture and operational excellence. Expactations: - Lead automation of software delivery workflows and infrastructure provisioning. - Ensure high reliability, availability, and performance of production systems. - Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (dev, QA, security) to remove bottlenecks and promote continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Streamline the software development lifecycle by identifying pain points and implementing process improvements. - Build, maintain, and evolve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Travis, or similar. - Develop and maintain automation solutions for infrastructure, tooling, and monitoring. - Manage code repositories and monorepo build/test systems (Nx, Pants, Bazel). - Configure and maintain observability stack (logging, monitoring, tracing) with CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc. - Ensure systems meet reliability and availability requirements; troubleshoot production incidents and perform root‑cause analysis. - Promote DevOps principles and culture across engineering teams. Required Skills: - 5+ years of DevOps experience. - Expertise in public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), serverless and container orchestration (AWS Fargate, Kubernetes). - Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform or equivalent). - Advanced CI/CD pipeline design and optimization. - Experience with monorepo tooling (Nx, Pants, Bazel). - Strong knowledge of observability (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus). - Ability to work collaboratively across teams. Required Education & Certifications: - A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
