Job Title: Expert Salesforce Business Analyst (Remote)
Role Summary
Lead requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder alignment for Salesforce Customer Experience portal and Service Cloud projects. Serve as Salesforce subject matter expert, translating business needs into technical specifications, user stories, and process designs to support agile development cycles and drive scalable platform enhancements.

- Champion agile practices across sprint ceremonies and backlog refinement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize scope and identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
- Maintain thorough documentation of business rules, data mappings, and architecture details.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements for CX portal and Service Cloud (Cases, Chats, Knowledge, etc.).
- Act as SME on Salesforce configuration, integration, and enhancement initiatives.
- Groom and refine user stories, including criteria, acceptance tests, and workflow flows.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to define scope, objectives, and technical constraints.
- Translate business needs into actionable technical requirements for flows, automation, and reporting.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Produce and sustain comprehensive documentation: user stories, process flows, data mappings, and business rules.
- Identify and propose process improvements and automation opportunities within Salesforce and related platforms.
Required Skills
- 6+ years as Business Analyst or Product Analyst with deep hands‑on Salesforce experience.
- Proven track record of implementing CX portal and Service Cloud (Cases, Chats, Knowledge) features.
- Strong grasp of Salesforce architecture, standard/custom objects, flows, validation rules, and platform limits.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and backlog management.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Excel; familiarity with process mapping tools (Lucidchart, Visio).
- Bonus: Exposure to Zuora, NetSuite, Workday, API integrations, data flows, SQL, SaaS, healthcare, or regulated industries.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Certified Scrum Product Owner, or IIBA CBAP preferred.
