Job Description: Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary Lead the design, development, and operational excellence of a FinTech platform. Own end‑to‑end product delivery, from architectural decisions to production deployment, while collaborating closely with founders and reporting directly to the CTO. Expectations - Deliver high‑quality, scalable code in a fast, agile environment. - Own platform reliability, performance, and security from conception to production. - Mentor junior developers and set technical standards for the team. - Communicate progress, risks, and solutions transparently to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Architect and build RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js/Express. - Develop responsive user interfaces with React (web) and optionally React Native/Expo. - Design and maintain relational database schemas (SQL/PostgreSQL). - Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS (S3, SNS, SQS, etc.) following best practices. - Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows. - Ensure code quality through code reviews, linting, and performance profiling. - Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Required Skills - 4+ years of professional software engineering experience. - Deep expertise in Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Git, and Agile methodologies. - Proficiency with React and modern frontend tooling. - Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases. - Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS). - Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and cloud‑native principles. - Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
