Job Description
Job title: Assistant Land & Utilities Surveyor Role Summary: Provide technical surveying support for aviation infrastructure projects at major airports (Heathrow, Gatwick) and adjacent markets. Work alongside a survey team to gather field data, produce reports, and assist in design and construction phases of airside and landside operations, including occasional night shifts. Expectations: Full UK driving licence, five‑year traceable employment or study record. Ability to work flexibly (day/night shifts, travel away from base). Basic proficiency in Office software. Demonstrate teamwork, eagerness to learn, and adaptability to dynamic site environments. Key Responsibilities: - Assist senior surveyors in field data collection and utility mapping. - Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Compile survey reports, progress records, and quality documentation. - Support design and construction teams with survey input. - Attend site meetings, safety briefings, and training. - Manage survey equipment, tools, and safety compliance.
