Job Description

Job Title: Senior Java Kotlin Developer Role Summary: Design, build, and optimize backend services using Java and Kotlin, leading architecture discussions, improving system performance, mentoring engineers, and driving technical direction for mission‑critical product initiatives. Expectations: - 7+ years of backend engineering experience. - Strong Java expertise and production experience with Kotlin. - Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior/mid‑level engineers. - Must reside in the United States (remote role). Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems. - Lead architecture discussions and influence technical direction. - Write clean, maintainable, testable code following best practices. - Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact features. - Mentor and coach junior and mid‑level engineers.
