**Job Title:** Director of Operations
**Role Summary:**
Strategic operations leader responsible for driving process excellence, resource utilization, and financial performance across technical, delivery, and construction services. Reports to COO and partners with Chief Engineer to align operational plans with market strategy, ensuring high‑quality project delivery and scalable growth.
**Expectations:**

- Guide a matrixed organization of 600+ employees, ensuring effective succession and talent development.
- Lead change initiatives, integrate innovation and technology, and enhance workflow efficiencies across all service lines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Develop and execute operational strategy, policies, and metrics in alignment with corporate objectives.
2. Oversee performance monitoring, financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost control for delivery, technical, and construction services.
3. Mentor and manage senior operational leaders; create development plans and succession strategies.
4. Partner with Chief Engineer to maintain service quality, implement process improvements, and embed technical excellence.
5. Identify and close talent gaps, align workforce capabilities with market opportunities, and manage recruitment and retention initiatives.
6. Cultivate stakeholder relationships, influence cross‑functional teams, and drive institutional adoption of data‑driven decisions.
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and contractual obligations.
8. Lead continuous improvement projects, leveraging technology and innovation to optimize operations.
**Required Skills:**

**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (required).
- Minimum 10 years’ professional experience with 5+ years in progressive operations leadership within an engineering or professional services consulting environment.
- Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean preferred but not mandatory.
