Job Description
**Job Title:** SQL Support Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide technical support for SQL database operations, troubleshoot issues, monitor data processes, and manage support cases using ServiceNow. Operate remotely on a rotating after‑hours and weekend shift schedule. **Expectations:** - Deliver accurate, timely support with strong communication skills. - Work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. - Handle dynamic support demands and participate in daily stand‑ups and teams meetings. **Key Responsibilities:** - Monitor daily data ingestion and processing pipelines for successful customer data handling. - Create, test, and deploy ad hoc SQL queries to diagnose and resolve issues. - Understand, review, and explain complex stored procedures. - Assign, track, and document support cases in ServiceNow, ensuring resolution and proper follow‑up. - Respond to internal request tickets and incident alerts. - Provide remote after‑hours and weekend support on a rotating schedule. - Participate in daily stand‑ups; present status and issues to the support team. **Required Skills:** - 3–5 years of SQL development and troubleshooting experience. - 2–3 years in a technical support or help‑desk role. - Proficiency with SQL (T‑SQL, PL/SQL, or similar). - Experience with stored procedures and basic data modeling. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to work independently and in a remote hybrid setting. - Familiarity with support ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred). - No mandatory certifications, though SQL/database certifications (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or related) are considered advantageous.
