Job Description

Job title: Power Platform Developer Intern Role Summary: An entry‑level role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) as part of a digital transformation initiative. Expectations: - 3–6 month internship (flexible start date). - Deliver functional prototypes, support production releases, and ensure code quality. - Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and the Digital Workplace lead. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and configure Power Platform applications and workflows. - Gather business requirements, create functional specifications, and validate solutions. - Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; sign off on production deployment. - Provide third‑party maintenance (TMA), troubleshoot bugs, and implement enhancements. - Collaborate with the Digital Workplace team to maintain performance and UX standards. - Participate in technology scouting and recommend continual improvements to existing services. Required Skills: - Strong fundamentals in software development and low‑code approaches. - Practical experience or coursework with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Apps, Automate, BI). - Basic proficiency in Power Fx, Microsoft Dataverse, and REST APIs. - Awareness of UX/UI principles and clean‑code practices. - Analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability, and curiosity for new tech. - Good written and verbal communication in English; French is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in an engineering or master’s level program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bac +5 level). - Any Microsoft certification (e.g., PL-900, PL-100) is a bonus. - Prior internship or project exposure to Microsoft technologies is preferred.
