Job Description: **Job Title** Full‑Stack WordPress Developer (Senior) **Role Summary** Seasoned full‑stack developer responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining high‑quality WordPress websites for a diverse client base, including startups, global brands, and nonprofits. Works within a 10‑person technical team, delivering projects from concept to production while continuously improving development practices. **Expectations** - Deliver end‑to‑end WordPress solutions independently on small projects and collaborate on larger initiatives. - Maintain and evolve existing sites, troubleshoot technical issues, and integrate external APIs. - Communicate effectively with teammates, stakeholders, and clients; adapt quickly to new requirements and technologies. - Demonstrate proactive problem‑solving and deliver early, practical solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Create and launch WordPress sites (2–6 month projects, ~10 per year). - Develop and integrate custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks. - Connect to and manage REST and SOAP APIs. - Refine and standardize development workflows and coding standards. - Handle production deployment, continuous integration via Git/GitLab. - Provide ongoing maintenance and incremental enhancements for live sites. **Required Skills** - Advanced proficiency in PHP, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+). - WordPress core, Gutenberg, plugin development, and theme architecture. - RESTful and SOAP API integration. - HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS. - Version control with Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. - Proactive mindset with rapid first‑draft solutions. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills. - Professional proficiency in English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent engineering program (minimum 3 years). - 2–4 years of WordPress development experience within an agency setting (or equivalent).
