They give 35% of their salary monthly to their family, enabling younger brothers and sisters to go to school and study. Job Description
**Job Title:** Global Development Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and expand international partnership and fundraising activities for a global educational NGO focused on Asia and Madagascar. Manage a portfolio of major donors, develop fundraising strategies, design partnership communications, and coordinate cross‑country collaboration to strengthen program impact and sustainability. **Expectations:** - Drive partnership strategy and fundraising plans in line with the organization’s global objectives. - Cultivate and maintain relationships with enterprises, foundations, individual donors, and SMEs globally. - Produce high‑quality grant proposals, partnership agreements, and impact narratives. - Oversee financial and narrative reporting for partnership contracts. - Provide leadership and training on tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Mailchimp, and Canva. - Collaborate closely with financial, program, and communications teams across multiple country offices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement partnership action plan with French and international donors. - Grow and diversify donor network; identify new funding opportunities. - Manage administrative aspects and reporting of partnership agreements. - Design tailored communication and retention activities for partners. - Lead annual fundraising prospecting and development plan with senior leadership. - Draft and submit proposals for projects, grants, and strategic collaborations. - Support local teams with data collection and impact story creation. - Coordinate multi‑stakeholder partnerships and propose innovative initiatives aligned with global priorities. - Facilitate global meetings and lead External Relations Managers across four operating countries. - Train new staff on Salesforce and enhance local team capacities. - Contribute to budget preparation and forecast monitoring with the finance director. - Promote knowledge sharing and best practices among country teams. - Participate in institutional events and partner engagement activities. **Required Skills:** - 7–10 years of partnership development and fundraising experience, preferably in international solidarity contexts. - Proven expertise in donor identification, proposal writing, project management, and partnership monitoring. - Fluency in French (native) and English (full professional proficiency). - Excellent written communication and drafting skills. - Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite; Salesforce essential; Mailchimp and Canva advantageous. - Strategic, analytical mindset with strong relational, rigorous, initiative‑driven, and persuasive capabilities. - Knowledge of the organization’s operating countries is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Development Cooperation, or related field.
