Job Description
**Job Title** Technical Lead – Applications (Materials & Industries) **Role Summary** Lead the technical architecture, delivery, and support of core weighing and monitoring applications for the Materials & Industries domain. Own product roadmap, manage cross‑functional teams, and drive digital transformation across multiple countries, ensuring high service quality and compliance with evolving technology standards. **Expactations** - Deliver technical solutions that meet business, performance, and security requirements. - Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation within a global, matrix organization. - Communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders, securing buy‑in from senior leadership and end users. **Key Responsibilities** - Define and execute a technical roadmap, coordinating with functional, security, network, hosting, and database teams. - Lead and mentor a team of analysts and technical experts; drive performance, career development, and training. - Plan, schedule, and deliver application enhancements, including de‑materialization, automation, mobile apps, and client portals. - Own run‑support life cycle: triage incidents, prioritize tickets, allocate resources, and supervise resolution. - Collaborate with functional teams to plan, test, and roll out application releases, ensuring rollback plans and manual procedures are in place. - Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge articles and continuously improve product documentation and practices. - Facilitate weekly stakeholder meetings, manage expectations, and report on status, risks, and priorities. - Proactively assess technology trends (cloud, IoT, AI, BIM, cybersecurity) and integrate them into product strategy. **Required Skills** - 7+ years of IT application project management and team leadership. - Proven delivery of transformation projects with strong technical focus (Windows admin, networking, web programming, scripting, cloud). - Experience with SQL Server or equivalent database administration. - Proficiency in English (B2–C1). - Strong project‑management skills: milestone tracking, risk alerts, planning, and methodology compliance. - Excellent presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Analytical, solution‑oriented mindset with capability to design from scratch and articulate recommendations. - Ability to thrive in a decentralized, evolving environment and influence across multiple functions. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s or equivalent (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Professional project‑management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) preferred.
