Job Title: Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer
Role Summary: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA) solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript, ISML/HTML, and Demandware Script. Configure Cloud Commerce objects, create user interfaces, and build integrations with external systems to enhance sales, service, and commerce experiences.
Expectations: Deliver secure, compliant, high‑quality code; maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control; collaborate across global teams; adhere to SOX, GDPR, PCI, ADA, and other regulatory standards; document solutions; support QA and UAT; participate in agile ceremonies and keep technical documentation up to date.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and customize SFRA components, controllers, pipelines, and ISML pages.
• Configure custom objects, page designer assets, and scheduled jobs.
• Build user‑friendly interfaces and data‑processing automation.
• Design and maintain integrations between Salesforce and ERP, WMS, marketing platforms, and other systems via REST/SOAP APIs or middleware (e.g., Celigo).
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform unit testing, peer code reviews, and support QA during integration and UAT.
• Document architecture, technical designs, and maintain reusable code repositories.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
Required Skills: • 3–5 years Salesforce Development (Sales, Service, or Commerce Cloud SFRA).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ISML/HTML, Controllers, Pipelines, and Demandware Script.
• Integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile development practices.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of secure coding, SOX, SOD, GDPR, PCI, ADA compliance.
Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Cloud Developer (preferred) or equivalent Salesforce development certifications.
