Job Title: Senior Director, Sales and Client Success – Intel Operations Accounts
Role Summary
Lead the commercial and operational lifecycle for Rhombus AI platforms (Guardian & Ambient AI) within defense and intelligence agencies. Drive adoption, revenue growth, and mission success while maintaining executive-level relationships with senior national security stakeholders.
Expectations
- Build and sustain trust with combatant commanders, service chiefs, agency leaders, and coalition partners.
- Translate complex AI capabilities into operational value for senior government audiences.
- Secure long‑term funding and contract expansion through demonstrable mission impact.
- Lead cross‑functional “mission pods” (sales, customer success, technical account management, solution architecture).
Key Responsibilities
- Own product line performance, adoption, and revenue for Guardian and Ambient AI across defense/intelligence customers.
- Define and execute go‑to‑market strategy aligned with modernization priorities; partner with product/engineering on roadmap and feature prioritization.
- Manage full customer lifecycle: proof‑of‑concept, deployment, sustainment, and expansion.
- Conduct executive briefings, capability demos, and navigate procurement/acquisition processes (PPBE, FMS, coalition frameworks).
- Identify expansion opportunities, secure multi‑year funding, and grow contract value.
- Develop strategic partnerships with defense primes, system integrators, and coalition partners.
- Represent the company at conferences, exercises, and policy forums.
- Collaborate with marketing on case studies, thought leadership; with legal/finance on contracts, forecasting, and KPI tracking.
- Advise executive leadership on market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging operational concepts.
Required Skills
- Deep understanding of defense acquisition, procurement, and budgeting cycles.
- Proven ability to engage senior government officials (four‑star generals, cabinet‑level, national security leaders).
- Strong strategic thinking and product‑market‑fit execution.
- Leadership of cross‑functional teams and “mission pods” with clear ownership.
- Excellent communication: executive briefings, capability demos, and technical requirements translation.
- Business acumen: pipeline forecasting, revenue growth, contract structuring.
- Familiarity with AI decision‑support systems and operational integration.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Defense Studies, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Prior senior leadership experience in defense/military intelligence or equivalent executive role.
- Certifications in project management (PMP) or defense acquisition (Optional).
