Job Title: Senior Product Manager
Role Summary:
Lead product strategy and execution for UnitedMasters’ B2C artist subscription, B2B indie label services, and internal partner roster, delivering features that increase growth, retention, and customer satisfaction for independent artists and small‑business owners.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑impact, data‑driven product improvements that align with company goals.
- Translate complex, ambiguous challenges into actionable plans.
- Prioritize initiatives to balance speed, scalability, and cost while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate across engineering, design, sales, operations, and relations teams.
- Own the full product lifecycle, from customer research to analytics post‑launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and advocate a product roadmap for artists and indie labels.
- Conduct user research, partner with Artist & Label Relations to surface customer needs.
- Monitor competitive landscape, analyze platform features, and recommend differentiation strategies.
- Own the end‑to‑end product experience, including onboarding, catalog migration, release submission, and analytics.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Commerce/Playlisting, and other internal stakeholders to ensure product deliverables meet customer demands.
- Maintain a high standard of product quality and customer delight.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into concise product specs and manage workflows via JIRA/Confluence.
- Define success metrics, iterate on features, and gate future work based on data and impact.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years product management experience, 2+ years in a top‑tier product team serving independent creators or small businesses.
- Strong customer obsession with a bias for action.
- Proficiency in extracting actionable insights from quantitative and qualitative data (Amplitude, Sigma, Mode, Tableau, etc.).
- Expertise in product requirements, stakeholder communication, prioritization, and trade‑off decisions.
- Experience managing product workflows in JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to work collaboratively, persistently, and diplomatically across cross‑functional teams.
- Passion for music and technology (preferred).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Product management certifications (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic) preferred.
