Job title: VC Intern – Winter/Spring 2026
Role Summary: Unpaid internship for students, 20 hrs/week, January–May 2026, potentially leading to full‑time opportunity. Intern will support venture capital operations by sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring startups across multiple sectors, conducting market research, and executing marketing and partnership initiatives.
Expectations:
• Active engagement in all VC lifecycle activities, from deal sourcing and initial screening to portfolio support.
• Deliver high‑quality research, analysis, and communication on target startups and industry trends.
• Demonstrate creativity and operational excellence in program and strategy development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct startup screening and analysis calls with founders, including assessing market, product, team, and financial metrics.
2. Perform market research across domains such as Enterprise Software, AI, HealthTech, Gaming, and Media.
3. Develop and execute innovative sourcing, marketing, and partnership strategies to expand the firm’s pipeline.
4. Support day‑to‑day operations and portfolio company needs, including coordination with stakeholders.
5. Contribute to strategic initiatives that scale firm functions (marketing, sourcing, partner relations).
6. Produce clear written reports and presentations for internal use.
Required Skills:
• Strong research and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Creative thinking and ability to generate actionable strategies.
• Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
• Basic familiarity with CRM and project‑management tools (e.g., Apollo, Zendesk, Airtable).
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in startup environments.
Required Education & Certifications:
• Enrolled in an Undergraduate, Master’s, or Ph.D. program in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Sales, Psychology, Negotiation, or related fields.
• Minimum one startup experience (job or internship).
• No specific certifications required, but knowledge of current startup and technology trends is preferred.
