Job Description
Job title: Junior Business Developer Role Summary: Junior Business Developer for a renewable‑energy software firm, responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and supporting sales cycles within a defined geographic area. Expections: Expect consistent lead generation, conversion of prospects into sales opportunities, and seamless hand‑off to account management for client retention. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and qualify new market opportunities in assigned region. • Conduct preliminary technical and commercial discussions to convert prospects into qualified leads. • Develop deep understanding of the company’s CFD‑based wind engineering and climatology solutions. • Participate in full sales cycle: negotiation, proposal drafting, and closing. • Collaborate with Product Line Managers and Customer Satisfaction Manager to ensure post‑sale client success. • Represent the company at external events (trade fairs, client visits) – limited international travel required. Required Skills: • Engineering or business background with strong interest in tech/software solutions. • 2–5 years of international sales experience in technical domains (CFD, numerical simulation a plus). • Proficient in English (C1), additional Spanish/Portuguese desired. • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and presentation skills. • Self‑motivated, quick learner, resilience to travel and new markets. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. • Technical certifications in CFD/numerical simulation beneficial but not mandatory.
