SettleParadigm is a newly formed housing association that’s the result of the merger between Settle Group and Paradigm Housing Group. Everything we do is about delivering excellent services, high quality homes, neighbourhoods we can be proud of and maximising the number of new affordable homes we build. We believe we can do this more effectively as one organisation. Initially known as SettleParadigm, we are the largest housing association operating in the region. Job Description
Job title: Head of Strategy Role Summary: Lead the development, review, and execution of the organisation’s Corporate Plan and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across strategy, service design, finance, data, and PMO functions. Drive annual business planning, quarterly performance reviews, and ESG reporting to support informed decision‑making and sustainable growth. Expectations: * Translate strategic intent into measurable actions, budgets, KPIs, and delivery plans. * Maintain an up‑to‑date three‑year roadmap distinguishing “run the business” from “change the business” activities. * Serve as a critical advisor to senior leaders and the Executive Board, providing evidence‑based insights and constructive challenge. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, maintain and update the strategic framework and Corporate Plan. 2. Coordinate annual business planning and quarterly review cycles with Finance and PMO. 3. Engage stakeholders, residents, and colleagues through inclusive consultations. 4. Produce high‑quality reports for Board, committees, and executives. 5. Draft, coordinate, and publish the annual ESG report, ensuring compliance with ESG standards. 6. Strengthen ESG frameworks and integrate ESG metrics into broader strategy updates. 7. Conduct sector trend and best‑practice research to inform strategy and operational decisions. 8. Align strategy with KPIs, performance frameworks, and financial planning. 9. Develop and embed strategic thinking tools across the organisation. Required Skills: * Extensive experience in strategic planning, corporate performance management and governance. * Proven coordination of annual business planning and quarterly reviews. * Deep understanding of ESG reporting requirements and sustainable finance principles. * Strong analytical, research, and data‑interpretation abilities. * Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder‑engagement skills. * Ability to differentiate and plan run‑the‑business versus change initiatives. * High‑level organisational and project management capabilities. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. * Strategic or service design certification preferred (e.g., Certified Strategy Professional, PMI-ACP).

Job Description
**Job title**: Multi‑Trade Operative (Plumbing bias) **Role Summary** Provide high‑quality maintenance services in domestic properties, executing responsive repairs, void works, and planned maintenance. Operate field‑based across occupied and vacant homes, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, professionally, and to a high standard. **Expectations** - Deliver all assigned works within agreed timeframes and quality standards. - Maintain strict adherence to health and safety policies and PPE use. - Keep accurate documentation and job records. - Maintain and report on vehicle condition. - Participate in out‑of‑hours standby rota as required. - Represent the organisation professionally to customers. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform responsive repairs, void works and scheduled maintenance across plumbing, plastering, tiling and flooring disciplines. - Conduct bathroom and kitchen refits in both occupied and unoccupied properties. - Estimate material requirements accurately and manage stock responsibly. - Complete all paperwork and job information in the prescribed manner. - Conduct weekly vehicle checks, maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects promptly. - Collaborate with Customer Services, Property, Service Control and Customer Hub teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. **Required Skills** - Recognised building or trade qualification in Plumbing. - Experience in plastering, tiling and floor laying. - Domestic property refit experience (bathroom and kitchen). - Strong understanding of health and safety within the building industry. - Excellent attention to detail and efficient work habits. - Basic IT competence (job information entry, reporting). - Full clean UK driving licence. - Willingness to participate in the out‑of‑hours standby rota. **Required Education & Certifications** - Qualified in Plumbing (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent). - Valid UK driving licence (clean record). - Any additional trade certifications (plastering, tiling, flooring) are preferred but not mandatory.
