Our company works with hides – cowhide, sheepskin, lambskin, reindeer hide – and furs to create luxurious collections – furnitures, rugs, throws, cushions or wall-coverings. Job Description
**Job Title** Business Development Intern **Role Summary** An intern will work directly with senior leadership to expand Norki’s presence in European and U.S. markets. Responsibilities include sourcing target clients (interior architects, builders, developers), initiating contact, arranging face‑to‑face presentations, establishing partnerships, and monitoring order fulfillment. The role also involves maintaining partner relationships, gathering client feedback, and refining commercial strategy. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable outreach results and contribute to partnership growth. - Learn Norki’s product portfolio and sales processes. - Demonstrate initiative, analytical thinking and teamwork. - Potential to transition to a full‑time business development position. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify and profile target companies and key decision‑makers. - Reach out to prospects by email and phone. - Organize and conduct face‑to‑face meetings to showcase brand and products. - Set up and manage partnership agreements; ensure smooth order execution. - Maintain regular communication with partners; nurture and grow the network. - Collect and analyze client needs to refine sales targets and objectives. - Support both small‑scale European exporters (Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, UK, Belgium) and large‑scale U.S. export initiatives. **Required Skills** - Marketing and commercial sales techniques. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Project management and prioritisation. - Analytical mindset. - Initiative and teamwork. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Fluency in French, English, and German (essential). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (3–5 years) in Business, Commerce or related field. - Valid “B” category driver’s licence (mandatory).
