Job Description

Job title: Senior Software Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and delivery of core product features for a start‑up focused on AI‑agent testing and evaluation, driving technical strategy and ownership across full lifecycle. Expectations: Own end‑to‑end feature development, simplify complex problems, balance priorities, and take initiative in a fast‑paced, low‑spec environment while keeping customer experience central. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain scalable microservices and APIs in Python and TypeScript, integrated with NextJS frontend. - Own feature development from concept through shipping and iterative improvement. - Collaborate with product and engineering leads to prioritize backlog and define technical direction. - Work closely with customers for onboarding, gathering feedback, and translating requirements into technical solutions. - Mentor junior engineers, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices in testing, CI/CD, and observability. - Contribute to infrastructure architecture, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability of the agent testing platform. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, NextJS, and modern web infrastructure. - Experience building and scaling production systems; deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering. - Proven ability to work autonomously in a startup environment, shipping rapidly and iterating on user feedback. - Excellent problem‑solving, simplification, and prioritization skills. - Effective communication and collaboration across cross‑functional teams. Bonus: Understanding of LLM capabilities, commitment to improving developer experience, and passion for evolving AI agent technology. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - No mandatory certifications required.
