Job Title: Sales Representative Role Summary: Commission‑only Sales Representative responsible for introducing Peliplat’s Film & TV Information Database to production companies, studios, research institutions, agencies, and creators worldwide. The role involves outbound prospecting, pipeline management, product demonstrations, relationship building, and market feedback collection, all executed independently within the assigned region. Expectations: - 100% commission‑based income with no base salary. - Flexible commission structures (upfront, recurring, milestone‑based). - No earning cap; income directly tied to closed deals. - Self‑directed work environment; autonomy over lead generation and closing. - Strong focus on measurable sales outcomes and market penetration. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify, qualify, and pursue prospects across film, TV, streaming, distribution, academia, and media agencies. 2. Conduct outreach via events, networking, email, calls, LinkedIn, and other preferred channels. 3. Deliver product demos and pitches highlighting metadata, multilingual catalog, keyword system, discovery tools, and competitive advantages. 4. Manage end‑to‑end sales pipeline: lead capture, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and closing. 5. Secure new subscriptions, renewals, and upsells while maintaining ongoing client engagement. 6. Represent Peliplat at local industry events, film festivals, schools, and cultural organizations. 7. Capture and report regional market insights on discovery needs, metadata gaps, and competitor activity to inform product and messaging strategies. Required Skills: - Proven experience in sales, partnerships, or business development (any sector). - Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate data‑driven value propositions. - Comfortable with autonomous, goal‑driven work and commission‑based compensation. - Knowledge of the entertainment industry, including film/TV production, distribution, streaming, academia, and media agencies. - Familiarity with metadata services (e.g., Gracenote, Parrot Analytics) and content discovery technologies; basic understanding of Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) is advantageous. - Networking acumen; existing contacts in creative or media sectors preferred. - Proficiency with CRM tools and sales pipeline management. Required Education & Certifications: - No specific degree required; business, marketing, film studies, or related discipline acceptable. - Certifications in sales, business development, or product marketing are a plus but not mandatory.
