**Job Title:** National Sales Manager
**Role Summary:**
Lead direct sales and account management for group business across a national market, driving revenue and market penetration for a luxury hospitality portfolio. Act as the product expert and advocate for the brand’s group sales channels, cultivating existing accounts and securing new high‑potential clients through proactive outreach, relationship building, and industry engagement.
**Expectations:**
- Achieve and exceed revenue and market share targets within the assigned territory.
- Build, maintain, and expand a high‑quality pipeline of group accounts.
- Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal departments to ensure seamless group event execution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct proactive sales outreach via phone, email, and online prospecting; schedule and execute visitation visits, site inspections, and FAM trips.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including account re‑work and new business acquisition strategies.
- Manage a detailed sales forecast, monitor budgeted expenses, and report on productivity metrics.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for group planners, maintaining strong relationships with agencies, representation firms, and GSO partners.
- Participate in internal sales programs (Synergy Sales, Affinity Teams, Strategic Account Teams) and promote sister properties.
- Analyze market trends, yield management data, and resource reports (Amadeus, Salesforce, Cvent, Knowland, LinkedIn) to adjust strategies.
- Attend relevant industry events, seminars, and association functions; maintain active membership and up‑to‑date contacts.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven expertise in luxury travel trade, group sales, and direct account management.
- Advanced business planning, negotiation, and proposal development.
- Strong communication (oral & written) in English with poise, clarity, and professionalism.
- Proficiency with CRM and sales tools (Salesforce, Cvent, Amadeus, Knowland, LinkedIn).
- Ability to analyze financial data, manage yield principles, and make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, patience, tact, and conflict‑resolution ability.
- Ability to work under pressure, balance multiple priorities, and travel frequently.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Hospitality or sales certifications (e.g., Certified Hospitality Sales Professional, Salesforce Administrator) are advantageous.
