Job Description
**Job Title:** Completions Officer **Role Summary:** Manage the post‑offer phase of mortgage completions, ensuring all documentation and conditions are met to achieve successful case closures. Collaborate closely with underwriting, processing teams, and external parties to deliver accurate completion forecasts and maintain up‑to‑date system records. **Expectations:** - Deliver all assigned completions within stipulated timelines. - Maintain high accuracy and compliance with lender and regulatory requirements. - Communicate progress and potential issues to the line manager and stakeholders promptly. **Key Responsibilities:** - Process incoming completion documentation received by post, email or other channels. - Work collaboratively with underwriting to manage the post‑offer caseload. - Provide daily, weekly and monthly completion forecasts to the line manager. - Obtain and verify information required to progress cases toward completion, liaising internally and externally as needed. - Monitor and manage expiring documents and offers to avoid delays. - Update all relevant systems to ensure accurate management information. - Verify that all mortgage conditions are satisfied before finalizing completions. - Cross‑skill with underwriting when required to cover workload. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in Buy‑to‑Let mortgage completions with a lender or packager. - Strong organisational and time‑management abilities. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Relevant qualification in finance, mortgage, property, or a related field (e.g., First Class Diploma in Mortgage Advice, Diploma in Mortgage Advice, or equivalent). - Any industry‑specific certifications that demonstrate knowledge of mortgage completion processes are an advantage.
