Job Description
Job Title: Senior Jira Administrator Role Summary: Lead the administration, configuration, and continuous optimization of Atlassian Cloud environments (Jira & Confluence), ensuring high availability, security, and user satisfaction while driving process improvements and integration initiatives. Expectations: • Deliver 4+ years of proven Jira Admin experience in Cloud. • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Confluence Cloud admin tasks. • Maintain strong English communication skills (upper intermediate or higher). • Mentor team members and lead Atlassian‑related projects. Key Responsibilities: • Administer, configure, and tune Jira and Confluence Cloud instances. • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access roles. • Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems via REST APIs, webhooks, and marketplace apps. • Analyze existing workflows, recommend enhancements, and implement automation. • Ensure system security, stability, and data integrity. • Produce documentation, FAQs, and run user training sessions. • Lead projects to upgrade, migrate, or extend Atlassian services; provide technical guidance to cross‑functional teams. Required Skills: • 4+ years as a Jira Administrator in Jira Cloud. • In‑depth configuration and automation of Jira and Confluence Cloud (workflows, screens, fields, permissions). • Strong understanding of system integrations (REST API, webhooks) and security principles. • Experience with Atlassian Marketplace apps and plugins; familiarity with ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud is a plus. • Analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. • Upper‑intermediate to fluent English. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). • Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator (preferred). • Atlassian Certified Confluence Administrator (preferred).
