About the Company

The UK market leaders for design, precision tool making and injection moulding services. Located centrally in the UK, our HQ is located in Northamptonshire with a second site in Leicestershire. We have over 45 years experience manufacturing precision injection mould tooling. We also have two injection moulding facilities with tonnage ranging from 25 tonne to 360 tonne presses. Fenton offer a “one stop shop” service offering in house concept design, CAD modelling, prototyping, tool-making, through to manufacture. We also have direct experience with post-moulding operations and assembly services all under one roof. Our fully-equipped tool-making facility offers in-house manufacture of moulds up to 3 tonnes in weight. We also offer tooling refurbishments, repairs, design changes and optimisation for existing mould tools. We can supply standalone tooling fully optimised in house, and we also can manufacture the components direct from either either of our two moulding sites. IS09001 accredited, we supply to a wide range of customers in the UK, Europe and globally.

**Job Title** Part-time HR Consultant/Manager **Role Summary** Provide strategic HR consultancy and management across policy development, employee relations, and compliance. Deliver on‑site support 1–2 days per week, focusing on high‑quality HR processes and workforce cohesion in a manufacturing/engineering environment. **Expectations** * Deliver comprehensive, compliant HR policies and procedural frameworks. * Act as a trusted advisor on employee issues and proactive workforce strategy. * Maintain meticulous employee records and ensure regulatory adherence. * Foster a positive workplace culture and resolve conflicts efficiently. * Operate independently and communicate clearly with senior leaders. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, implement, and monitor HR policies aligned with labor and employment legislation. 2. Manage day‑to‑day employee relations, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance discussions. 3. Maintain accurate employee files, HRIS data, and reporting dashboards. 4. Conduct HR audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal controls. 5. Advise management on workforce planning, succession, and engagement initiatives. 6. Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and exit procedures. 7. Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR queries and concerns. 8. Review and update HR documentation to reflect legal changes and best practices. **Required Skills** * Extensive experience in HR management and consultancy. * Deep knowledge of labor and employment legislation (UK context). * Strong policy‑development and implementation capabilities. * Proficiency in employee relations and conflict resolution. * Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills. * Ability to work independently and manage part‑time consulting engagement. * Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering HR environments is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. * Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or above, SHRM‑SP/SHRM‑CP, HRCI PHR/SPHR) preferred. * Ongoing professional development in HR and labor law is an advantage.
