Job Description
Job Title: System Administrator – Senior Role Summary: Lead the design, deployment, and administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments while managing related projects. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex support issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of cloud and on‑prem infrastructure. Expectations: * Manage multiple end‑to‑end Microsoft O365 and Azure migration/implementation projects. * Lead project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication. * Provide L3/L4 support for escalated incidents. * Deliver security reviews, performance tuning, and best‑practice recommendations. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and execute Microsoft 365 and Azure tenant deployments, migrations, and upgrades. * Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft cloud services and associated on‑prem infrastructure. * Conduct periodic security assessments, policy updates, and remediation actions. * Resolve complex technical incidents escalated from the service desk and maintain incident documentation. * Collaborate with network teams on installation and upgrade tasks. * Produce project and support documentation, including status reports and post‑mortem analyses. Required Skills: * Strong project management expertise (planning, scheduling, risk management). * Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams). * Proficient with Microsoft Azure services: AD, Intune, Azure AD Connect, SSO, and network services. * Experience with Windows Server administration and networking fundamentals. * Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve L3/L4 issues efficiently. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and/or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert. * Relevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
