Job Description
**Job Title** Systems Engineering Manager **Role Summary** Lead a system engineering team to drive manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and new product integration. Serve as the primary liaison between customers and production, ensuring compliance with specifications and timely execution of engineering change, first‑article, and release‑to‑manufacturing activities. **Expectations** - Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience and 3 years management experience. - Strong technical leadership with a deep understanding of product life‑cycle, cost analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration. - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and communicate technical concepts to non‑engineering stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and enforce department policies, standards, and procedures. - Plan, coordinate, and lead NPI projects and FA events, ensuring adherence to customer specifications. - Manage the engineering change (EC) process, including approval and implementation. - Conduct regular customer and internal meetings to report engineering status. - Collaborate with Sales, QA, Automation, and Production teams to resolve issues. - Analyze technology, resources, and supply chain for project feasibility. - Monitor project progress, recommend resource adjustments, and report departmental metrics. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process, quality, and cost. - Oversee staff development, technical competence, and hiring activities. **Required Skills** - Program & project management, document control, and analytical troubleshooting. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. - Knowledge of ERP/PLM, server/rack integration, and vendor configuration tools (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. - Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or engineering disciplines are an advantage.
