Job Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (AI & Research) Role Summary Senior Talent Acquisition Partner responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and engaging world‑class AI research talent in a fast‑moving deep‑tech startup environment. Drives the development of scalable hiring systems, crafts targeted sourcing strategies, and delivers a superior candidate experience tailored to high‑caliber technical roles. Works closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to align talent acquisition with company growth objectives. Expectations - Build comprehensive hiring foundations and scalable processes from scratch. - Secure top AI researchers with strong academic credentials, publication records, and expertise in Physics AI, Neural Operators, or large‑scale model training. - Create a compelling employer brand within AI/ML communities to attract high‑bar talent. - Iterate quickly on sourcing and engagement tactics, measuring success and refining approaches. - Maintain a high‑quality, fast candidate experience that reflects the startup’s culture and mission. Key Responsibilities 1. Design and implement end‑to‑end recruiting systems and scalable hiring frameworks. 2. Develop creative, data‑driven sourcing strategies (e.g., academic conferences, research network outreach, niche job boards). 3. Partner with hiring managers and C‑suite leaders to define role requirements and success metrics. 4. Curate and deliver customized candidate experiences focused on AI research profiles. 5. Champion the employer brand in AI/ML ecosystems; represent the company at conferences and events. 6. Track recruiting KPIs, report findings, and adjust strategies for continuous improvement. 7. Mentor junior recruiters and foster a high‑performance talent acquisition culture. Required Skills - 5+ years of senior technical recruiting experience, preferably in deep tech or AI. - Profound understanding of AI research landscape, academic and industry talent pipelines. - Proven ability to source and close high‑caliber technical candidates in a competitive market. - Strong strategic thinking, process design, and project management abilities. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and storytelling skills. - Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous startup settings; self‑driven and results‑oriented. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. - Professional recruiting certifications (e.g., SHRM‑SP, LinkedIn Certified Professional – Recruiter) preferred but not mandatory.
