Job Description

Job Title: Backend Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain secure, high‑performance RESTful APIs in C#/.NET Core to support scalable backend services for data‑centric products, while collaborating closely with front‑end, data science, and product teams in an Agile environment. Expactations: Deliver production‑ready code that adheres to security, performance, and scalability standards; participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and architecture discussions; ensure robust authentication, authorization, and data validation mechanisms; integrate APIs with React front‑ends and AWS cloud services. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core. - Architect secure, high‑performance systems that scale with user growth. - Develop and optimize SQL databases, including stored procedures and query tuning. - Implement authentication/authorization frameworks (OAuth2, token‑based). - Collaborate with front‑end teams to integrate APIs with React interfaces. - Conduct API testing using Postman, ngrok, and related tools. - Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines. - Contribute to backend architecture standards and technical design discussions. Required Skills: - 2+ years of backend or full‑stack development experience. - Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, SQL/T‑SQL, RESTful API design. - Experience with authentication systems (OAuth2, JWT, cookie‑based). - Knowledge of data security, RBAC, network performance. - Familiarity with AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda), Git, Postman, CI/CD. - Strong database design and query optimization skills. - Agile methodology experience, version control collaboration. - Bonus: Go, Rust, analytics integration, microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical field. - Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship required.
