Job Description
**Job Title:** InfoSec Analyst **Role Summary:** Senior Information Security Analyst on a Tier 1 Cyber Threat Fusion Center team. Responsible for investigating, triaging, and escalating security incidents using established playbooks, performing rapid threat prediction, and supporting continuous monitoring of cyber threats. **Expectations:** - Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Information Security Analyst experience. - Ability to work evening and weekend shifts on‑site (local). - Strong investigative and analytical skills to assess threat levels and execute escalations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct cyber incident management from detection through response and documentation. - Monitor and analyze alerts (malware, phishing, suspicious logins) using risk analytics. - Perform case management and follow incident response playbooks. - Utilize SIEM tools (preferably Splunk) to correlate and investigate events. - Escalate high‑risk cases to appropriate Tier 2/3 teams. - Contribute to threat prediction capabilities and improve detection processes. **Required Skills:** - Incident investigation, triage, and escalation. - Case management and incident response workflow. - Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk preferred). - Experience in enterprise‑level security environments. - Familiarity with tools such as CrowdStrike, NetWitness, XSOAR, VirusTotal (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Preferred: GCIH or other SANS certification. - Cloud security experience is a plus.
