Job Description

Job Title: Endur Developer Role Summary: Senior Endur Development professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Endur trading and risk management solutions for a commodities trading firm. Works on both legacy AVS scripting and modern JVS scripting, transitioning systems to a JVS‑only environment. Expectations: - Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Endur development; 5+ years preferred. - Proven experience in commodities implementations (natural gas, crude oil, coal, metals). - Strong SQL development skills (complex joins, performance tuning). - Experience scripting in AVS (older version) and JVS (newer version), with plan to phase out AVS. Key Responsibilities: - Write, test, and deploy Endur modules using JVS. - Maintain and refactor existing AVS scripts, ensuring compatibility during migration. - Design and optimize SQL queries and database schemas for performance. - Collaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical solutions. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of Endur components. Required Skills: - Endur development (AVS & JVS) - SQL (advanced queries, joins, indexing) - Commodities trading domain knowledge (natural gas, crude, coal, metals) - Problem‑solving, debugging, and troubleshooting in Endur - Version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Endur or commodity trading platform certification preferred but not mandatory.
