Job Description

Job title: DevOps Engineer (GCP) Role Summary: Provide production and development support for the organization's GCP infrastructure, leading migration from on‑premise data centers, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring secure and reliable operations across Kubernetes environments. Expectations: • Immediate full‑time contract under the CTO. • Proactive collaboration with development, security, and infrastructure teams. • Deliver high‑availability, compliant cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and optimize GCP services for the media and themes portfolio. - Lead migration of legacy on‑premise components to cloud. - Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows with GitLab‑CI/Bitrise. - Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform. - Configure and sustain monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). - Provide technical guidance to developers on CI/CD, containers, and cloud best practices. - Apply and enforce security controls in partnership with the cybersecurity team (SOC, RSSI). - Support deployments for React, Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ environments. - Continuously refine automation and operational excellence. Required Skills: - Proven DevOps experience; hands‑on implementation history. - Strong knowledge of GCP; familiarity with other cloud providers acceptable. - Expertise in IaC with Terraform. - Proficiency with Kubernetes container orchestration. - Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab‑CI, Bitrise). - Solid understanding of monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). - Basic cyber‑security awareness and experience collaborating with security teams. - Comfortable working with React and Node.js application deployments. - Self‑directed, methodical, and dynamic problem‑solver. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. - Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect/Developer, Terraform Associate) are a plus.
