Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Role Summary: Senior ServiceNow developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow applications and integrations for ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, and custom modules.
Expectations: 6+ years hands‑on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including administration, scripting, integration, and module development. Demonstrated ability to deliver robust, secure solutions in a fast‑moving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow custom applications, workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and catalog items.
- Customize and enhance ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, and scoped modules to meet business requirements.
- Configure Service Catalog, Request Management, Incident, Problem, Change, and CMDB modules.
- Build and maintain integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Server.
- Implement Flow Designer flows and scripted REST APIs for automation.
- Define and enforce ACLs, security rules, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and version control activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, system errors, and service outages.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and translate requirements.
- Create and update technical documentation, test cases, and deployment procedures.
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases, best practices, and industry trends.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Script Includes.
- Deep experience with ServiceNow administration and modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and scoped application development.
- Hands‑on with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP integration, and MID Server.
- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, data model, and ServiceNow tables.
- Familiarity with ATF, Performance Analytics, and Service Portal development (AngularJS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap).
- Knowledge of LDAP, SSO, OAuth, and web services integration.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and independent work skills with strong attention to detail.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
