Job Description: **Job Title** Frontend Engineer – Europe **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible web interfaces for a programmable healthcare clearinghouse. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend teams to deliver high‑quality, reusable UI components and contribute to the design system. **Expectations** - Build production‑ready features on a fast‑moving SaaS platform. - Own end‑to‑end component lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, and documentation. - Demonstrate strong ownership, curiosity, and a commitment to engineering excellence. **Key Responsibilities** - Translate design mockups (Figma) into functional, semantic React components. - Leverage Next.js for server‑side rendering and routing. - Write and maintain TypeScript‑typed state, props, and API contracts. - Implement robust UI testing (unit, integration, end‑to‑end) and ensure accessibility compliance. - Develop and evolve a shared component library and design language system. - Work with AWS‑hosted backend services, consuming strongly‑typed SDK clients. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build tooling, and performance monitoring. - Communicate clearly with cross‑functional teams and produce concise technical documentation. **Required Skills** - 4+ years in web front‑end development at a technology‑driven company. - Expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Advanced JavaScript knowledge and modern ES6+ features. - Proficiency with CSS‑in‑JS, responsive design, and accessibility best practices. - Experience setting up and maintaining build, test, and deployment workflows in production. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Passion for code quality, testing, and continuous learning. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
