Job Description
Job title: Project Manager – Remote Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end project delivery for outfitting and installation projects, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget execution and 100% client satisfaction. Manage design, procurement, construction, and close‑out phases while coordinating with owners, design‑build teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Expectations: - Deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints, achieving high client satisfaction. - Maintain clear, proactive communication across all levels and disciplines. - Provide accurate reporting on progress, risks, and financial performance. - Adapt to changing priorities and resolve conflicts efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Develop cost‑effective project plans, schedules, and resource allocations. - Manage design process, scope control, and FF&E/LVS scheduling. - Coordinate with owners, design‑build teams, and vendors to meet installation requirements. - Create, manage, and track FF&E/LVS submittals, documentation, and procurement documents. - Assist superintendents and field staff with coordination, communication, and clerical duties. - Produce and distribute subcontracts, purchase orders, RFI/RCs, closeout manuals, and logs. - Lead project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and action items. - Oversee compliance with building and safety regulations and conduct regular site inspections. - Prepare internal and external progress reports, monthly forecasts, budgeting, cost and risk analyses. - Manage entitlement, design‑build, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, billing, and close‑out phases. - Conduct inventory, low‑voltage design, and procurement activities. - Create and administer owner and subcontractor pay applications. - Travel as required. Required Skills: - 3+ years in construction or IOT project management (or related field). - Strong verbal and written communication; ability to engage all organizational levels. - Advanced Microsoft Office 365 proficiency; skilled with SharePoint, ProContractor, Audaxware. - Experience with Bluebeam Studio (preferred). - Knowledge of architectural design processes, documentation, and specification interpretation. - Conflict resolution, problem solving, multitasking, and high‑pressure decision making. - Detail orientation, self‑directed work capability, teamwork. - Physical ability to work mobile, lift up to 25 lbs, and sit/stand for extended periods. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline (preferred). - PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
