Job Description

**Job title:** Blockchain Engineer (EVM Client) **Role Summary:** Design, build, and scale EVM‑based solutions for a rollup‑native cloud platform that powers high‑throughput Ethereum chains. Focus on node architecture, performance, and tooling to deliver robust, developer‑friendly services. **Expectations:** Deliver production‑grade software, participate in on‑call rotation, maintain high code quality, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to debug and optimize complex stack issues. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect, develop, and evolve the EVM node stack powering the platform. - Enhance node, EVM, and supporting components for scalability and reliability. - Evaluate and integrate alternative solutions (e.g., Reth) with potential platform benefits. - Build and refine tooling and processes to improve maintainability, reliability, and developer experience. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance, networking, and memory issues across the stack. - Participate in peer reviews, design reviews, and mentorship activities. - Operate in a dev‑ops environment, contributing to CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response. **Required Skills:** - Deep technical understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine and node internals (debuggers, block explorers, tracers). - Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating production‑grade distributed services. - Strong proficiency in at least one of: Go, Rust, or Python. - Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud storage (e.g., GCS). - Excellent debugging skills for stack‑wide performance, networking, and memory issues. - Experience with tooling patterns for EVM networks and developer tools. - Effective collaboration, including mentoring, code reviews, and design discussions. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - No mandatory certifications required.
