Job Description
**Job Title** Software Engineer (Product) **Role Summary** Builds end‑to‑end features for a modular warehouse operations platform, driving the product from insight to launch. Works closely with leadership, design, and customers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions with minimal hand‑off. **Expectations** - Own product initiatives from research to production. - Make autonomous technical decisions with limited approval. - Balance short‑term feature delivery against long‑term architecture. - Contribute to the company’s product culture, processes, and infrastructure. - Occasionally visit customer sites to validate solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, develop, test, and deploy full‑stack features (frontend, backend, database). - Collaborate with or lead UI/UX design for rapid prototyping and iterative releases. - Integrate new technologies and tools into the stack, influencing tech‑roadmap decisions. - Resolve blockers efficiently, applying structured problem‑solving and trade‑off analysis. - Maintain high code quality, documentation, and automated testing standards. - Mentor peers and maintain a high‑performance engineering culture. - Work alongside product, design, and customer success teams to align technical outcomes with business goals. **Required Skills** - 3+ years of full‑stack development experience. - Proficiency in web technologies: Python, Django, Postgres, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Svelte). - Strong debugging, performance tuning, and scalability practices. - Familiarity with API design, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and empathy for end‑users. - Self‑motivated, open to learning, and capable of making decisive trade‑offs. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - No mandatory certifications required, but knowledge of cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and dev‑ops tools is a plus.
