Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Job Description: Job Title Senior Project Manager – Solar & Renewable Energy Role Summary Lead construction delivery of solar PV projects in France, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance. Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams during site mobilisation and construction phases. Provide technical guidance to junior staff and support stakeholder engagement, permitting, and grid connection. Expectations - Manage multiple high‑value solar projects simultaneously. - Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to technical standards. - Demonstrate proactive risk management and continuous improvement. - Progress into Project Director role as the organization expands. Key Responsibilities - Oversee construction delivery of solar PV sites: site mobilisation, health & safety, quality assurance, and schedule control. - Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, EPC teams, and internal project managers for seamless execution. - Monitor and report project progress, budget performance, risks, and milestones to the Managing Director. - Support permitting, grid connection, and stakeholder engagement during construction. - Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and best practices. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and share lessons learned across projects. - Provide technical and operational guidance to junior engineers and project team members. - Collaborate with the Managing Director on French market delivery strategies. Required Skills - Minimum 5 years of construction project management in solar PV or renewable energy. - In‑depth knowledge of solar PV construction processes, civil works, and electrical installation. - Proven ability to manage contractors, subcontractors, and cross‑functional teams. - Strong budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation skills. - Fluent in French and English (excellent written & verbal communication). - Self‑motivated, proactive, able to thrive in a fast‑growing environment. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical) or related field. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred. - Knowledge of French construction regulations and renewable energy standards.
