**Job title:** Software Engineer – Dispatch Integration
**Role Summary:**
Design, build, and maintain seamless integration between Salesforce and Dispatch.me for field service management. Deliver real‑time data synchronization, workflow optimizations, monitoring, and reporting to support HVAC and plumbing technicians’ operations.
**Expectations:**
- In‑depth experience with Salesforce platform and Dispatch.me SaaS.
- Deliver reliable integration solutions that reduce claim processing latency and errors.
- Build monitoring, alerting, and dashboards that provide actionable visibility into claim flows.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Ops, Product, and Support to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Proactively identify automation opportunities and recommend best practices for system observability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain Salesforce‑Dispatch.me connectors and data sync logic.
- Ensure data consistency, workflow integrity, and claim handling accuracy across platforms.
- Create and maintain custom Salesforce dashboards, reports, and KPI metrics for claims and invoices.
- Implement monitoring tools, alert systems, and troubleshooting workflows for integration health.
- Work with Ops and Dispatch.me support to triage, diagnose, and resolve integration issues in real‑time.
- Identify and automate repetitive tasks, optimize processes, and propose performance improvements.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Document integration architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
**Required Skills:**
- Salesforce development (Apex, SOQL, Visualforce/Lightning components).
- Experience integrating third‑party SaaS platforms (e.g., Dispatch.me).
- Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and data mapping.
- Proficiency in monitoring/alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, or similar).
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and perform unit and integration testing.
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II) preferred.
- Relevant Experience: 3+ years in software engineering with demonstrated Salesforce and SaaS integration expertise.
