Job Description
Job Title: DevOps Engineer Role Summary - End‑to‑end cloud and Kubernetes operations for internal ML platform services. - Ensure high availability, scalability and sub‑second latency for up to 1,000 RPS. - Drive CI/CD, GitOps and infrastructure automation in a lean team. Expactations - 5+ years of hands‑on Kubernetes and AWS experience. - 3–5 years database admin (Postgres, RDS/Aurora). - 3+ years Python programming; proficiency in Bash scripting. - Proven ability to produce reliable, maintainable infrastructure code; excellent communication and organization. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters (Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps). - Perform routine cloud infrastructure ops, including DNS, load‑balancing, ingress, telemetry and logging. - Administer databases: migration, performance tuning, cost monitoring and telemetry instrumentation. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines; lead GitOps initiatives and lifecycle tooling. - Collaborate closely with internal customers and stakeholders to meet uptime, scaling and performance targets. - Regularly report status, drive projects to completion and proactively address blockers. Required Skills - Kubernetes architecture, configuration, deployment and cluster operations. - Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps workflows. - SQL/NoSQL database administration (Postgres, RDS/Aurora). - Python scripting; Bash shell scripting. - AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.). - CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.). - Telemetry, logging, monitoring & alerting best practices. - Strong problem‑solving, communication and organizational abilities. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience. - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent preferred. - AWS Certified Solutions Architect or relevant AWS certification a plus.
