Job title: Artificial Intelligence Engineer
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions using Microsoft Azure services for a variety of application domains. Focus on pattern recognition, natural language processing, and neural network model creation integrated with software development practices. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within the product development lifecycle.
Expectations:
- Deliver AI models and intelligent agents that solve real-world problems.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and integrated into existing product stacks.
- Adhere to company and client quality standards and release schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement AI models using Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and the MCP framework.
- Develop full-stack components (C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python) that expose AI capabilities via REST APIs.
- Write, run, and maintain automated tests with Playwright, JMeter, Postman.
- Deploy and configure models in Azure using IaC tools (Bicep) and manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Integrate Microsoft Copilot extensibility, Semantic Kernel (planner, memory, connectors) and prompt orchestration into applications.
- Collaborate with data, product, and engineering teams to refine model requirements and performance.
Required Skills:
- Programming: C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python.
- Cloud Platform: Azure (Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure DevOps).
- AI/ML: Model design, training, deployment, and inference.
- Frameworks: MCP, Semantic Kernel.
- Testing & DevOps: Playwright, JMeter, Postman, REST API testing, CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bicep).
- Source Control: Git, GitHub.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate) preferred.
