Job Description
**Job title** Sales & Business Development Analyst **Role Summary** Support the front‑office sales team in trading exchange‑traded emissions derivatives and developing the OTC structured solutions portfolio. Drive client onboarding, provide market insights, and manage day‑to‑day sales workflows while owning small projects within a fast‑moving team. **Expectations** - Recent graduate or early‑career professional with academic or internship exposure to finance, trading, or commodity markets. - Strong numerical aptitude and keen interest in financial markets. - Self‑starter who can take initiative and work independently in a small team. - Comfortable quickly developing client‑facing capabilities after training. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist the sales team with daily workflows for listed and OTC products. - Contribute to the growth of the exchange‑traded derivatives business. - Support client origination and onboarding under senior guidance. - Prepare market summaries, pricing sheets, and client‑facing materials. - Conduct research on carbon and broader commodity markets. - Attend client meetings, industry events, and conferences as needed. - Own and execute mini‑projects to completion. **Required Skills** - Strong analytical and numerical skills. - Advanced Excel proficiency; basic coding knowledge is an advantage. - High attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities. - Proactive problem‑solving and initiative in a fast‑paced environment. - Effective written and verbal communication. - English fluency; additional European language a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a quantitative/technical field. - No specific certifications required; basic understanding of financial market functions expected.
