Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer
Role Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data architecture, ETL pipelines, and BI solutions that deliver accurate, timely insights across Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance functions. Lead integration of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, e‑commerce) with data warehouses and APIs, and implement AI/GenAI features to automate report creation and enhance analytics.
Expactations:
- Build and maintain robust data models and data pipelines on both on‑prem and cloud platforms.
- Deliver self‑service Power BI/Tableau dashboards with integrated natural‑language and GenAI visualization capabilities.
- Govern data quality, security, and compliance, ensuring traceability and consistency across systems.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement dimensional and relational data models for enterprise reporting.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes; manage data warehouse and dataset creation.
- Create and maintain APIs to connect ERP/CRM/e‑commerce sources to BI platforms.
- Automate report scheduling, alerting, and distribution using workflow tools and AI assistants.
- Integrate AI/GenAI tools for natural‑language querying, automated insights, and advanced visualizations.
- Establish metadata standards, data lineage documentation, and governance policies.
- Conduct performance tuning, scalability testing, and continuous improvement of data pipelines.
- Provide technical documentation, training, and support to end‑users and stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization.
- Experience building Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent dashboards.
- Proficiency in ETL pipeline design and data warehouse management.
- Familiarity with APIs, version control (Git), and automation frameworks.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI services for analytics (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI).
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schemas).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of business intelligence, data engineering, or database development experience.
- Certifications in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or cloud data services (Azure, AWS) are a plus.
- Master’s degree and experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, AWS Glue, or similar cloud data services are preferred.
