Job Description

**Job Title** ServiceNow Development Analyst **Role Summary** Design, develop, test, and maintain ServiceNow applications under minimal supervision. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, implement solutions, and ensure quality and compliance with architectural and development standards. Provide support, risk assessment, and coaching to junior analysts. **Expectations** - 2+ years of application development experience (ServiceNow or similar platforms). - Able to work on-call (2‑week on, 6‑week off) and attend onsite at least once a week. - Demonstrate independent execution of full application life‑cycle tasks. **Key Responsibilities** - Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders. - Design, code, test, debug, and deploy ServiceNow applications. - Document application designs, configurations, and changes. - Apply patches, implement enhancements, and maintain system integrity. - Conduct risk assessment and develop design strategies. - Mentor and coach less‑experienced development analysts. - Lead process improvement initiatives within development teams. - Provide troubleshooting and resolution for product and implementation issues. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in ServiceNow development (JavaScript, Flow Designer, UI Scripts, IntegrationHub). - Experience with software testing, debugging, and deployment practices. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. - Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts. - Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices. - Ability to work independently and manage on‑call responsibilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. - Certified ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications highly desirable. - Relevant ITSM and SAFe training or experience is a plus.
