Senior Salesforce Software Developer
Role Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions on the Government Cloud platform, aligning technology with business goals, automating processes, integrating with external systems, and ensuring high quality, maintainable code.
Expectations
- Deliver functional, optimized Apex, Lightning, and integration solutions within defined timelines.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and adhere to coding standards.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to drive adoption and support users.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management to translate business requirements into Salesforce architectures.
- Build and customize Salesforce solutions using Sales Cloud, Apex, Triggers, Batch/Scheduled classes, Flows, Lightning Web Components, and Lightning Design System.
- Configure CRMA, create data recipes, and develop analytics dashboards.
- Automate business processes with Flow, Assignment Rules, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Email, and Slack alerts.
- Design and implement integrations via REST, SOAP, OAuth, and SSO with ERP and other internal platforms.
- Migrate changes from development to production, perform smoke tests, and manage Data Loader operations.
- Provide end‑user support, foster self‑service, and enhance adoption.
- Stay current on Salesforce releases, best practices, and platform enhancements.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years IT experience, 5+ years Salesforce platform development.
- Proficient in Salesforce configuration, Apex, Triggers, Scheduling/Batches, Flow, Lightning Components.
- UI development: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Lightning Design System.
- Strong OOP fundamentals and debugging/optimization in Salesforce.
- Experience with CI/CD (GitHub, Salesforce DX, CLI).
- Integration expertise: REST, SOAP, OAuth, SSO.
- Familiar with FFLIB (Apex Common Framework).
- Proficient with tools: JIRA, Salesforce DX, CLI, Data Loader.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Platform Developer II or equivalent certification preferred.
