Job Title: Salesforce Application Developer
Role Summary: Design, develop, and extend Salesforce applications using Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and integration tools. Lead technical strategy, automate processes, manage DevOps, and maintain secure, high‑performance solutions across Salesforce platform and external services.
Expectations: Minimum 4 years of application development experience, 3+ years in Salesforce development (Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC). Must hold relevant Salesforce certification (Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder, or OmniStudio Developer). Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end solutions: design, code, test, deploy, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Salesforce platform apps (Apex classes, triggers, batches, flows, Lightning components, Visualforce).
- Design customer portal and integrate with AWS web components, print services, and third‑party tools.
- Build document templates with Salesforce native or third‑party tools.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
- Implement AppExchange solutions and secure web applications (MFA, role‑based access).
- Manage DevOps processes: code documentation, version control (GitHub), CI/CD, configuration management, and promotion.
- Participate in SDLC activities (requirements, design, testing, deployment) using Waterfall, RUP, or Agile.
- Conduct data migration, SQL Server management, and T‑SQL scripting.
- Create technical and process documentation; support QA testing.
- Provide technical leadership, estimate effort, review architecture, and present to stakeholders.
- Research and recommend technical solutions and best practices.
Required Skills:
- Salesforce: Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flow, Process Builder.
- Integration: REST, SOAP APIs, batch processing, scheduling, multi‑factor authentication.
- Development tools: Visual Studio Code, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps or TF‑Server.
- Databases: SQL Server (2014/2017/2019), SSMS, T‑SQL, stored procedures, SSIS.
- Document generation: native Salesforce tools or third‑party.
- DevOps: CI/CD, version control, configuration management.
- UI: Lightning components, HTML/CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Backbone), responsive frameworks (Bootstrap).
- Security & performance best practices, SDLC adherence.
- Communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field (preferred).
- Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce OmniStudio Developer certification (mandatory).
- Microsoft Certified Professional (preferred).
- Advanced certificates or training in application development (preferred).
