**Job Title:**
Graduate Intern – Software Engineering
**Role Summary:**
A 12‑month graduate internship focused on full‑stack web application development, API design, and cloud infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The intern will contribute to feature development, data analysis, and system design while learning industry best practices in software engineering.
**Expectations:**
- Complete the internship within 12 months, starting May or early June 2026.
- Demonstrate rapid learning and effective collaboration in an agile team.
- Produce production‑ready code and participate in code review processes.
- Engage in continuous improvement, applying Clean Code, SOLID principles, and automated testing.
- Pertain to a potential permanent role post‑internship based on performance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using React, Node.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product owners to design and implement new features.
- Participate in data analysis projects, utilizing SQL, Python, or BI tools for insights.
- Apply SDLC practices, version control (Git/GitHub), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to automated testing (e.g., Jest) and ensure code quality.
- Attend agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and provide constructive feedback.
- Support the product engineering team with additional duties as required.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong programming fundamentals in object‑oriented or strongly‑typed languages.
- Familiarity with Golang, React, or Node.js (basic knowledge acceptable).
- Understanding of SDLC, algorithms, and testing principles.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred.
- Proficient in Git/GitHub for version control.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks such as Jest.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and build production‑ready solutions.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (graduating Spring 2026).
- No specific certifications required; coursework in cloud computing, web development, or data analytics is advantageous.
