**Job Title:** Head of Marketing Operations – Cannabinoid/Hemp Brands
**Role Summary:**
Lead and scale the full marketing ecosystem—including paid media, lifecycle, creative ops, analytics, and trade—in a regulated cannabidiol/hemp environment. Design and implement systems, workflows, and reporting frameworks that increase efficiency, profitability, and data-driven decision-making. Own forecasting, dashboards, and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Product, and Finance to accelerate growth.
**Expectations:**
- 8–12 years of senior marketing operations, growth, or performance leadership experience.
- Proven success scaling brands in restricted categories (cannabis, alcohol, supplements, etc.).
- Deep data fluency: expertise in creating and interpreting dashboards, metrics, and insights.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project‑management skills with a hands‑on execution mindset.
- Process‑oriented operator who delivers structure, accountability, and measurable results.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct all paid and organic media channels (Meta, Google, SEO, affiliates, influencers, lifecycle).
- Build, maintain, and continually optimize marketing technology stack (ad platforms, analytics, CRM, e‑commerce).
- Own marketing data, forecasting, and performance dashboards; translate insights into actionable strategy.
- Architect scalable workflows and reporting processes shared across marketing and cross‑functional teams.
- Align growth goals and forecasts with Sales, Product, and Finance through collaborative planning.
- Partner with creative teams to convert performance data into high‑impact campaigns.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high‑performing marketing operations team focused on accountability and innovation.
**Required Skills:**
- Marketing operations & performance leadership in regulated markets.
- Advanced proficiency with Meta Ads, Google Ads, Looker, GA4, Klaviyo, Shopify, and related analytics/automation tools.
- Expertise in acquisition channel strategy, attribution modeling, and retargeting.
- Strong analytical skills: dashboard creation, KPI definition, data visualization, and insight generation.
- Project management: build and execute cross‑functional initiatives, set timelines, and meet deliverables.
- Leadership: team building, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).
- Preferred certifications: Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot, or other marketing analytics/tracking credentials.
