Job Description: **Job Title:** Tech Lead – JavaScript (Next.js / Nest.js) **Role Summary:** Seasoned JavaScript engineer responsible for leading multiple front‑end and back‑end development teams, defining modern web architectures, and ensuring high‑quality, scalable, secure delivery of SaaS platforms in an agile environment. Acts as technical authority, mentor, and advocate for best engineering practices. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 years of professional JavaScript development, with proven technical leadership. - Strong product‑orientation and commitment to code quality. - Fluent communication in French and English. - Ability to work on‑site in the Île‑de‑France region. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead, coach, and coordinate several development squads (front‑end & back‑end). - Organize technical rituals: code reviews, pair programming, architecture workshops. - Design and oversee modern web architectures using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Nest.js. - Contribute to codebase: develop features, ensure test coverage, maintain documentation, and enforce CI/CD pipelines. - Drive performance optimization for both front‑end and back‑end components. - Evolve design systems and technical guidelines. - Ensure adherence to DevOps, Agile/Scrum practices, and security standards. **Required Skills:** - Expert proficiency in React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript. - Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3. - Deep experience with Node.js and Nest.js (or comparable frameworks such as Express). - Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs. - Practical experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL. - Competence with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Jest or Mocha testing frameworks. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Vercel) is a plus. - Demonstrated leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - No specific certifications required, though cloud or Agile certifications are advantageous.
