**Job Title:** Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead the design, implementation, and operation of scalable, secure multi‑cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure. Drive modernization through IaC, DevOps, and container orchestration, ensuring high reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
**Expactations:**
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience as a senior cloud or DevOps engineering lead.
- Proven track record in architecting complex multi‑cloud environments and leading technical teams.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, provision, and manage Azure resources (VMs, AKS, VNets, Blob, Key Vault, Load Balancers).
- Develop, version, and maintain IaC templates using Terraform modules, ARM/Bicep.
- Configure secure Terraform state back‑ends and enforce best‑practice security.
- Build and oversee CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab) – automate deployments, AKS upgrades, and zero‑downtime rollouts.
- Orchestrate container workloads in Docker/Kubernetes (AKS) for mission‑critical services.
- Implement cloud governance: tagging, naming conventions, Azure Policy compliance, RBAC, SSO.
- Manage secrets and CI/CD security with HashiCorp Vault/Sentinel.
- Architect network security: Application Gateway with WAF, third‑party firewalls (e.g., FortiGate).
- Execute cost‑optimization initiatives (VM right‑sizing, Reserved Instances, resource cleanup) targeting 35%+ savings.
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
- Mentor and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to foster high‑performance culture.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and multi‑cloud architecture.
- Advanced IaC using Terraform (modules, state, Bicep/ARM).
- CI/CD tooling: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins.
- Containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS).
- Scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
- Security fundamentals: RBAC, SSO, secrets management, network & data protection.
- Governance & compliance: Azure Policy, tagging, naming standards.
- Cost‑optimization strategies and automation of resource hygiene.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred).
